Job Description

Our client designs, manufactures and distributes sports recreation products. They sell through multiple channels ranging from large retailers, eCommerce directly and through partners, distributors and B2B for commercial sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Generating incremental revenues and meeting sales targets
  • Generating direct, commercial leads in the Business to Business (B2B) segment, especially to commercial camps and resorts
  • Converting leads to large sales of commercial installations
  • Gathering and utilizing business intelligence on prospects to support sales calls, product presentations and driving new business
  • Identifying new and unique sales and marketing strategies to generate new business
  • Identifying and collecting new product opportunities from customers to enhance the commercial business segment
  • Support business development through trade shows and development of strong marketing efforts to satisfy customer needs

Required Skills & Experience

  • History of successful sales B2B sales experience
  • Hunter not a farmer: demonstrated track record of identifying and converting new customers
  • Willingness to travel 25%+ to prospect and convert new customers
  • Desire to work on combination of base and commission with commission being a critical part of future success
  • Cooperative and team oriented person to work closely with Marketing, Customer Service and R&D to provide customers with all aspects of what they need to be successful
  • Solution sale oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills at all levels
  • High comfort level in Excel and PowerPoint
  • BA or BS college degree preferred
