Job Description

This role is responsible for managing the day to day activities of the existing sales team and drive overall revenue growth and profitability of the company.  This person will work hand in hand with the Sales Director to help create an implement a sales strategy.  He/She will also be responsible for all internal processes as well as utilizing a hands-on approach to improve overall performance.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead direct reports but also take on management of key accounts
  • Create efficiencies to the existing sales process from quoting to delivery
  • Develop a deep understanding of organizational capabilities and use as selling tool
  • Work collaboratively with peers and management to continue strategic growth
  • Research and implement any additional tools or training to improve performances
  • Active networking within the industry to create new opportunities


Required Skills & Experience

  • 2-year degree required
  • 5+ years of sales experience
  • 3+ years of experience managing direct reports
  • Experience using CRM tool
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Etc)


Desired Skills & Experience

  • 4-year degree or technical degree preferred
  • Experience with change management within a sales team
  • 3+ years within the building products industry
