Our retained client is an entrepreneurial manufacturing company that makes large capital equipment and sells it through an international network of dealers. This company is looking for a high producing sales manager to lead an established group of sales professionals and be personally responsible for the overall growth of the organization.

Job Description

The Sales Manager will be responsible for introducing our product on international market and leading our experienced team of established Sales Associates. The candidate should be competitive, financially motivated and capable of working with our team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop international distribution network by assign sales territories, set sales goals, and establish training programs for the sales teams. Maintain contact with distributors
  • Oversee sales department in newly establish India branch
  • Learn all aspects of our street sweepers to teach sales personnel how to operate and demonstrate our product
  • Oversee domestic sales team, advise them on ways to improve their sales performance
  • Analyze sales statistics gathered by their staffs to determine sales potential and inventory requirements and to monitor customers’ preferences
  • Attend and preside over sales meetings
  • Travel to different locations to make sales calls
  • Maintain reports
  • Develop motivational material


Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
  • Minimum of 5 years of industrial sales
  • Minimum of 2 years in leadership sales position
  • Ability to travel 50-60% both domestically and internationally is required
  • Experience working a long sales cycle that can range from 6-24 months with equipment that ranges from $150K
