Job Description

Our client is a global market leader in their industry and has an immediate need for top tier sales talent to help grow the market share in an evolving and growing industry. This person will be responsible for:
  • Conduct sales and service calls to the end user customer
  • Prospect for potential new business as well as maintain relationships with existing accounts
  • Preparation of customer proposals and staying with the process resulting in closing the business
  • Conduct training presentations for customers
  • Cultivate and service customer relationships to ensure current and future sales
  • Represent organization at industry events and trade shows
  • Report sales forecasting and activities back to upper management
  • Travel extensively by airplane and car (50% or more)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of sales experience
  • 3+ years selling into the green energy or utilities space
  • High level of technical aptitude
  • 4-year degree required (Technical and advanced degree preferred)
  • Background in solution and value-add sales
  • Basic computer knowledge (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
