Benefits Analyst (ID:45703)
The Benefits Analyst will evaluate and manage employee benefits programs, ensuring they align with company policies and regulations. You will analyze data, negotiate with vendors, and provide recommendations to optimize benefit offerings. This role supports employee satisfaction and helps control costs, enhancing overall organizational efficiency and competitiveness.

The Benefits Analyst administers the benefit plans for all Frandsen Companies.  This exciting role is responsible for monitoring and ensuring Frandsen Companies offer competitive and attractive benefit plans by making solid recommendations to Frandsen Leadership. The person works closely with the identified benefit broker to ensure the company offers a sound plan design that meets competitive needs and complies with local, state, and federal law requirements.  The Benefits Analyst handles employee inquiries and assists with resolving issues and questions. This position also coordinates the annual benefit of Open Enrollment for all Frandsen Companies.

Additional responsibilities include acquisition project work as necessary for all Frandsen Companies, as well as other responsibilities related to employee benefit communication.

Roles & Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinates and facilitates the FFC FMLA/PLOA process.
  • Review plan design frequently for integrity and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Track the billing and allocation of benefit costs for all Frandsen Companies.
  • Interface with 401K provider to maintain compliance while making sure plan administration is consistent with Frandsen Group and FFC plans. Facilitate the annual discrimination testing process and Profit-Sharing contribution calculations/deposits.
  • Provide Payroll support on a rotational basis for Frandsen Financial locations as assigned.
  • Interact with benefit providers and brokers to ensure contracts are fulfilled, and service levels are acceptable.
  • Coordinate the annual Open Enrollment process, including ownership of plan review, timing and implementation of employee enrollment, and meeting facilitation as necessary.
  • Present information to employees and leadership in concise and clearly understandable format.
  • Partner with HRIS and Payroll administrators to effectively administer benefit plans and reporting. Provide support for processing and communication of annual Total Compensation Statements.
  • Facilitate annual 401K audit process and filing of 5500's as required.

 

Required Skills & Experience: 

  • A degree in human resources or a related field is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of related experience preferred.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP and/or CEBS certification preferred.
  • Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Present information to and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Strong written and oral instructions that can be applied without detailed explanation.
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
