Job Description

The HRIS & Benefits Manager will be responsible for managing all HRIS technology and managing the benefit programs.  This role is responsible for researching and recommending best practices in benefit plan design and HRIS technology to align with the culture.  This position may lead and mentor members of the Human Resources team.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop benefits, compensation, and HRIS strategies
  • Manage the HRIS platforms, ADP, ADP Compensation Pillar, iCIMS Applicant Tracking software, and the Cornerstone Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Partner with the marketing department to create and design education resources for the LMS to include materials, videos, brochures, instructor led sessions, and system standard work documents
  • Lead HRIS projects from quote through implementation
  • Develop plans for internal program communications and engagement strategies
  • Proactively look for ways to improve reporting, file feeds, and overall system usage
  • Review metrics, dashboards, storyboards and report out data to company leaders
  • Use data and lean tools to identify improvement areas and future projects
  • Find new ways to eliminate administrative burden in meeting operational needs and streamlining workflows
  • Lead, mentor, and coach HR team members
  • Manage the benefit programs and serve as a benefit subject matter expert
  • Participate in program design, implementation, and administration of the company health and welfare programs in partnership with our benefits broker and all third-party vendor partners
  • Partner with cross company leaders to execute benefit and HRIS programs
  • Manage the annual benefits open enrollment process, partnering with our operating company HR teams
  • Ensure the compliance calendar and all required compliance filings and communications are distributed in a timely manner
  • Manage audits and annual discrimination tests of our profit sharing and 401(k) benefits, prepare form 5500


Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field or an active SHRM Certification
  • 5 years of experience managing HRIS systems
  • 5 years of experience managing benefit programs
  • 3 years of experience creating learning content
  • Attention to detail
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask


Preferred

  • Master’s degree in human resources or a related field
  • SHRM certification
  • Medical device manufacturing
  • Continuing Education; including participation in local chapters, associations, and/or organizations
