Business Analyst (ID:45664)
This is an exciting new opportunity for someone to join the Business Analyst team and make an impact in a high-retention, midsized, publicly traded organization!

The Business Analyst is an impactful contributor to the entire organization. You will focus on our ERP system, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, and work with business units throughout the company. You will also play a large role in bringing our newly acquired business on board.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to end-users on various ERP (JD Edwards) modules.

  • Participate in the roll-out and training of new JD Edwards features and enhancements for end-users.

  • Assist with the integration of JD Edwards for new acquisitions.

  • Analyze and verify end-user requirements for completeness, consistency, and conformity to standards.

  • Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts for project direction and understanding.

  • Translate user requirements into functional requirements that are clear to both functional users and technical team members.

  • Conduct solution validations.

  • Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle, enforcing timelines and redefining goals as necessary.

  • Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders through verbal or written documentation.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • College diploma or university degree in business administration, computer science, supply chain or operations management, or information systems

  • 2-5+ years of relevant Business Analyst and ERP experience

  • Experience with core ERP, preferably JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, software application modules, such as:

    • Planning and forecast management

    • Manufacturing

    • Inventory management

    • Sales order management

    • Procurement

    • Transportation management

    • Quality

    • Item master

    • Accounting (ap, ar)

    • A willingness to learn modules where hands-on experience is lacking.

  • Proficiency in business and technical requirements analysis, modeling, verification, and methodology development.

  • Ability to create systematic and consistent requirements specifications in both technical and user-friendly language.

  • Skill in researching and identifying solutions to system issues for end-users.

  • Demonstrated project management skills, including planning, organizing, and managing resources and proficiency in project management software.
