Job Description

We are looking for a Business Development Manager that will drive revenue growth for our company.  This role will have overall responsibility for identifying and securing new business relationships and high-level relationship management.
 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, lead, and maintain outbound sales growth to foster new client relationships
  • Continuously hunt, generate, and identify qualified sales leads in focused agency target categories primarily through relationship mining, as well as internal and external networking within the staffing and recruiting industry
  • Represent the company at networking functions, trade shows and other industry-related events
  • Develop a pipeline of new business opportunities, forecast revenue and profitability
  • Achieve weekly call and meeting goals with prospective clients
  • Maintain and refine CRM database of prospects
  • Weekly maintenance and update of account contacts and activity for communication to leadership via established reporting metrics
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve annual sales targets
  • Bring new ideas to the sales and marketing plan
  • Be an expert at delivering agency capabilities presentations over the phone and through video conferencing
  • Be a master collaborator working as part of a team to build a solution to convince clients we are the best partner to solve their business challenges
  • Ability to solution sell clients withing the agency’s suite of services based on identifying what their core business challenges are and may be in the future
     

Requires Skills and Experience: 
  • 3+ years of experience in outbound lead generation role required
  • 5+ years of sales and marketing experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
  • Knowledge and experience in the staffing/recruiting industry either working in a staffing/recruiting agency or selling into the staffing/recruiting space
  • Knowledge and experience with business development through Linkedin – knows Linkedin’s portfolio of tools and can demonstrate past success in using them
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly connected individual and strong desire to grow relationships
  • High energy and winning attitude
  • Must be a collaborative team player
