Business Development Representative (ID:41908)
Versique is seeking a highly motivated, ambitious and driven Business Development Representative to join our growing organization. As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will help generate new business opportunities for the Dire Hire division and deepen the relationships with current and prospective clients.  In this role, you will support all practice areas within Direct Hire by assisting with market research, lead generation, identifying prospective clients and maintaining engagement with current clients.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Connect and communicate with existing client updating client information and identifying potential placement opportunities.
  • Conduct thorough internet research to identify prospective clients, key placement opportunities and analyze competitor activities.
  • Proactively generate business opportunities through continual communication with prospects and clients via cold calls, warm calls, strategic emails, networking, and social media outreach.
  • Effectively communicate Versique’s value proposition and key differentiators to existing and prospective clients.
  • Identify needs, challenges and opportunities of prospective or existing client passing along key intake information to appropriate practice area.
  • Manage data for existing and prospective clients in our CRM platform, ensuring all communications are logged and information is accurate.
  • Set up intro meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Practice Directors.
  • Attend industry events and networking functions, leveraging them as opportunities to increase the organization’s visibility and generate new leads.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • BA/BS degree preferred
  • Experience in Sales, Business Development, Account Management, or Recruiting
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to self-manage
  • Passion for networking, connecting, and building relationships
  • Be resourceful and persistent
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and energized by a fast-paced environment
