Our client is a growing organization with an immediate need for an experienced Channel Sales Manager to lead sales through distribution partners. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Create, implement, and execute a strategic sales plan for growing revenue through industrial distribution channels and independent rep firms
- Recruit/develop/manage new and existing channel partners and independent rep firms
- Work hand in hand with the President to grow and guide the organization towards its revenue goals
- Travel as necessary to visit with targeted distribution partners as well as end-user customers to assist in the close of business
- Gain understanding of the current marketplace and bring market intelligence back to management to better strategize for future
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of Channel Management experience with 3+ years in technical sales
- 10+ years of proven track record of producing top sales numbers
- Ability to work in a small, fast paced environment and willing to wear multiple hats
- Familiarity with all current technologies that can be used in a sales presentation
- Self-motivated but a consummate team player
- Must currently reside in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, no relocation assistance available
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
