Our client seeks an experienced ambulatory nursing leader for oversight of four primary care clinic locations. Lead daily operations with opportunity for continued development of a growing mental/behavioral health and opioid prevention program.

Job Description

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
Responsible for the selection, on-boarding, training, and evaluation of clinical support staff to ensure the highest level of teamwork and delivery of clinical care. Knowledge and understanding of the dynamics of nursing and provider support roles and how they affect or are affected by the entire clinic operations as well as hospital and ancillary services. Act as a leader and role model for service excellence. Actively participate in the Clinic Leadership, serve as Department Head and other teams as requested. Maintain appropriate provider support (LPN / CMA) staff in all clinic sites. Champion quality improvement initiatives. Coordinate and facilitate LPN / CMA Department meetings covering topics related to risk management, QI, education and patient services.  Conduct, with support from the Clinic Administrator and HR, the hiring of provider support staff, their performance evaluations, counseling and disciplinary actions.
 
 
PREFERRED EDUCATION/TRAINING:
 
Must have and maintain a current Minnesota Registered Nursing License.  Bachelor’s degree preferred

EXPERIENCE:
Previous clinic management and leadership experience.
