This role represents a rare and exceptional opportunity to lead and develop a highly effective North American finance team and play a hands-on role in building the commercial, operational and finance capabilities that will sustain the realization of this vision of expansion.
The Financial Controller will be responsible for the operational day to day operation of the finance function of the North American division, which includes preparation of monthly management accounts, key contributor to the budgets and forecasting process, and overseeing the credit control and accounts payable function.
This role will report to the President, with a dotted line to the Group Financial Controller, who sits in the UK. The team comprises of 2 direct reports, with a total headcount of 7.

Roles and Responsibilities:
•    To lead finance function in the day-to-day financial operations, which includes accounts payables, credit control, treasury, month end reporting, intercompany and other financial areas
•    Full ownership of monthly management accounts, including preparation, identifying variances and creating insightful reports for US Management team
•    Support the President on operational finance matters
•    Coaching a developing the finance team to support the business as it grows
•    Working with the group function to develop new and improved finance and business related processes
•    Review and implement company wide controls in line with group policies
•    Implementing system rollouts on finance matters 
•    Key contributor to the budgets and forecasting process 
•    Ensuring ongoing tax compliance of direct and indirect taxes in North America


Required Skills and Experience:
· Industry experience within CPG/Retail/Manufacturing/Wholesale/Consumer Goods
· CPA with a minimum of 4-5 years of experience
· Advanced excel skills
· Experience with SAP preferred

· Excellent communicator and influencer with all levels
· Impeccable integrity and an entrepreneurial spirit
