Creative Director (ID:46367)
Our client seeks a dynamic and visionary Creative Director to lead their exciting brands' art and design direction. This role requires a balance of leadership and hands-on creation, offering an exciting opportunity to shape brands, mentor, and grow a creative team.

In this role, the Creative Director oversees a small team of designers, driving creative strategies and delivering inspiring work across diverse mediums such as advertising, digital, print, in-store signage, photography, packaging, and more. The successful candidate will possess a strong hands-on background in graphic design and storytelling and proven leadership experience that aligns creative work with overarching business and brand objectives.

As a key leader, the Creative Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring their brands to life across various customer touchpoints.

 

This role is hybrid, onsite 4x per week in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and elevate brand aesthetics across all creative touchpoints to ensure consistent and inspiring visual identity.
  • Develop and execute creative strategies and campaigns aligned with business and marketing goals.
  • Manage and mentor a team of designers, fostering growth, collaboration, and high-quality output.
  • Oversee the creation of compelling visual storytelling across digital, print, social media, and in-store marketing.
  • Maintain and refine brand guidelines, ensuring alignment across internal teams and external partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape briefs, prioritize projects, and deliver exceptional creative work.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, integrating innovative practices into creative solutions.

 

Required Skills & Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing or advertising or relevant experience. 
  • At least 4+ years of experience managing a creative team.
  • A portfolio showcasing impactful design solutions across multiple channels and mediums.
  • Expertise in developing and managing design systems, advertising, digital media, print, and production processes.
  • Exceptional design sensibility, with proficiency in typography, layout, color, and composition.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including listening, negotiating, and decision-making.
  • Passionate about servant leadership and fostering a high-performing creative team.
