We are looking for a highly skilled, compassionate Customer Marketing Manager who loves creating and delivering top-notch B2B marketing experiences. In this role, you will focus on driving success of our client’s customers and build out their community of influencers and advocates. As the internal voice of the customer, you will be responsible for driving cross-functional efforts to educate customers about products, develop strategies and approaches to help them make the most of their investment, and drive their marketing programs forward. The Customer Marketing Manager role may include developing positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation, etc., drive adoption, upsell and retention.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, a marketer with strong passion for understanding customer pain points, and a natural talent for relationship building.

This position will report directly to the VP of Marketing.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Build rapport with customers to increase renewals, referrals, and cross-sell and upsell opportunities
  • Lead and manage customer engagement and communication programs, such as workshops, awards programs, onboarding, and ongoing nurture campaigns
  • Connect with customers to ensure continued education and success throughout the relationship lifecycle
  • Identify key customers that can act as a marketing channel through case studies, speaking opportunities, etc.
  • Help marketing and sales meet business objectives through customer advocacy initiatives
  • Serve as an internal advocate for customer needs; developing an approach to uncover new use cases by engaging with customers to gain quantitative and qualitative feedback
  • Maintain an in-depth and empathic understanding of users’ problems and needs to help drive product development
  • Partner with customer success to develop content and advocacy programs that help drive product value and retention

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of demonstrated professional experience in a B2B marketing communications or related field, preferably in the Adtech or Martech industries. Experience in ABM considered a plus!
  • Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, problem solving, and executive presentation skills.
  • Natural communicator who effortlessly crafts simple, powerful, and compelling audience specific propositions
  • Solid project management skills, including planning resources, alignment, managing deadlines and objectives, delivering analysis and recommendations
  • The ability to think creatively while considering and taking a data-driven analytical approach
  • Be comfortable in a fast-moving environment and demonstrate nimble problem-solving nous
  • Excellent cross-functional collaborator, with the ability to strike deep relationship
  • A team player, who is willing to roll up sleeves and work with others
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience launching community initiatives will be considered a plus (e.g., building an online forum, launching an advocacy program, customer communications, etc.)
  • Occasional travel may be required for this role
