Job Description

The Digital Marketing Specialist has 2+ years of experience in the execution of SEO strategy and best practices. Primary responsibilities include optimizing and managing search engine marketing campaigns on behalf of Parqa’s clients as well as assist in the creation and direction of strategy while managing project timelines as well as managing all SEO activities for clients such as content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings and to increase our registrants to our supplier’s portal/platform. You will also will also have the opportunity hone in on additional skills within PPC, Social, Marketing Automation, and Content Marketing.

Roles & Responsibilities:  

  • Perform keyword research, analysis, and implement into content
  • Research, recommend, and implement SEO best practices to increase organic growth
  • Perform website tech audits to identify potential issues, areas of improvement, and implement findings
  • Research and analyze competitor advertising links to compete with other user onboarding strategies
  • Promote both offsite and onsite activities and the interactions that build ranking, profile and traffic
  • Work with digital content manager to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
  • Work with developers to change website architecture and overall web pages to improve SEO positions for target keywords
  • Optimize copy and landing page for paid search campaigns
  • Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns
  • Be able to implement SEO recommendations into a CMS, mostly Wordpress

 

Education & Experience: 

  • BS degree in a quantitative, test-driven field
  • 1-2 years’ experience in technical SEO
  • Certifications in Google Analytics, Adwords, Hubspot (Brightedge or Conductor a plus)

Additional Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of the core concepts of organic search engine optimization
  • Advanced experience with SEO guidelines, analysis, tracking/reporting tools, algorithms, ranking factors
  • Knowledge of basic web design and technology principles and their SEO implications
  • Knowledge in coding and development a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to quickly adjust priorities to respond to pressing demands
  • Extensive knowledge working with SEMRush, SEOMoz, Screaming Frog, AWR Cloud, Buzzsumo, Google Search Console & Bing Webmaster Tools
