The Finance Director & Controller role entails ensuring financial data accuracy, alignment with standards, and compliance, while safeguarding assets. They lead financial risk management, provide insightful support for decision-making, and manage controlling activities, fostering a collaborative environment. This position involves team leadership, strategic financial partnering, risk mitigation, productivity enhancement, reporting, budgeting, inventory oversight, treasury management, tax compliance, and effective collaboration across functions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage financial data integrity, ensuring adherence to standards and regulations.
- Lead financial risk identification and implement mitigation measures for asset protection.
- Provide financial performance analysis to COO & Site Head, aiding informed decision-making.
- Foster a collaborative partnership with business leaders to enhance value creation.
- Develop the capabilities of the finance team and align with local organizational objectives.
- Execute financial month-end and year-end closings, complying with IFRS and guidelines.
- Drive inventory analyses, reporting, and projections as per Group guidelines.
- Oversee financial planning processes including budgets, estimates, and outlooks.
- Analyze manufacturing variances, product costing, and ROI analyses.
- Implement Group Treasury and Tax Guidelines, managing cash flow and transfer prices.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, internal and external regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support continuous process improvements.
Required Skills and Experience:
- CPA or Master's degree in Finance/Economics.
- 10+ years' experience in Finance, preferably in multinational environments.
- Experience in regulated industries, bio-pharma/healthcare tech, and manufacturing.
- Profound understanding of financial principles, processes, and accounting.
- Strong leadership, project management, and change management skills.
- Analytical mindset with independent problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to set long-term financial targets and lead improvement projects.
- Self-starter with the capacity to influence multiple stakeholders.
