This Operations Leader is responsible for strategic and operational excellence in managing all Value Stream manufacturing and Facility/Maintenance activities. This position leads a team of 3 production managers, representing 3 value streams, and reports to the VP of Ops. Accountable for developing and leading an engaged workforce, ensuring compliance with all company policies, maintaining a safe work environment, meeting production schedules and standards in accordance with customer requirements, ensuring quality procedures are adhered to, maintaining optimum production at the least possible cost, defining problem areas and other areas for improvement, and implementing solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with your manager and Leadership team in the development of performance goals, long-term operational plans, operational efficiency, and increased productivity.
- Establish manufacturing strategies, production footprint and space planning needed to support business growth and customer requirements effectively and efficiently.
- Monitor capacity vs. load for key manufacturing processes for the Value Stream (equipment & people). Lead efforts to expand capacity to support demand.
- Be an active and visible change agent, promoting flexible and open mindedness to new ideas and opportunities.
- Ensure that Operations Managers are driving daily accountability actions through the standard process and recognizing accomplishments daily.
- Lead overall manufacturing & facility operations initiatives for the facility, facilitating the achievement of operational goals for People, Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost targets & meeting customer commitments.
- Demonstrated personal commitment to Safety and leading safety processes to sustain a safe work environment.
- Ensures that quality procedures & standards are adhered to meet the requirements of the finished product and uphold the brand.
- Responsible for implementing and sustaining a metric driven culture where data is used to monitor performance and drive decisions to optimize operations and exceed customer expectations.
- Ensure execution of Daily Management through Standard Work, 5S, Tiered Boards (metrics/KPIs), and workforce agility (cross training), etc.
- Accountable for the overall budget and financial performance of manufacturing operations.
- Drives lean transformation and ensures that the concept of “lean principles” are in force throughout manufacturing in support of the Operational goals.
- Drive continuous improvement of manufacturing procedures equipment in collaboration with CI, Engineering, and Quality.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 8+ years manufacturing leadership experience required.
- Process & results driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and leadership development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and people skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate teams, resolve conflict, and act as an agent of change.
- Take action, collaborate, build relationships.
