Client Description:
Well established software as a service company that sells into a niche market is looking to expand their capabilities and grow their market share. 

Job Description:
  • Create a go-to-market strategy for the sales team to meet established goals
  • Review current sales pipeline, past sales and future growth opportunities
  • Provide front-line sales insights into decisions for product and service offerings
  • Collaborate with sales and product staff to identify key product development areas
  • Autonomously build pipeline and close deals
  • Collaborate in the development of the sales processes with Marketing
  • Hire, train, manage, and professionally grow a top-flight sales team
  • Lead the Sales Team to meet and exceed quota; support sales team in growing and closing sales opportunities
  • Manage pipeline
  • Provide ongoing sales coaching and mentoring
  • Cultivate and nurture client relationships to ensure success
  • Collaborate with Marketing and for new lead generation campaigns
  • Report on business unit performance to senior management

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of software and services sales management experience
  • Successfully built a high producing sales team
  • Proven track record for leading a team that produces high growth year over year
  • Experience in working with and selling to non-profit organizations
  • Intermediate to advanced command of CRM for contact data access, screen sharing technology
  • Analytical mind with strong quantitative and market analysis skills
  • Strong problem solver and conceptual thinker
  • Must have an entrepreneurial spirit that is focused on identifying and executing on new business
  • Proven ability to design and execute challenging sales processes
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with both internal and external customers
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be located in the Charleston, SC area
