Privately held client expanding their Engineering teams and looking for a talented Electrical Engineer to grow with them. Our client is a cutting-edge materials science based company that delivers effective adhesion quality control for manufacturers who are concerned with adhesive bonding, painting, coating, printing, and cleaning. Open to Hybrid/Remote located either in Minnesota or Ohio.
Our client is looking to add an Electrical Engineer to enable the achievement of 3X growth in the company’s annual revenue, with 1/3rd of the revenue from recurring SaaS subscriptions by initiating global sales conversations with manufacturers who need to know how to detect and resolve the source of their bonding problem.
This exciting company offers a patented solution that detects flaws that cause bonding failure with adhesives and coatings. Unlike other solutions, they find the issue where it happens and lead to faster root cause analysis. Our client allows for detection and analysis within an individual process, across company facilities, and across a supply chain or innovation network. The company already has relationships with some of the world’s most well-known technology and manufacturing companies.

You will work on a small, focused, and highly efficient Scrum team tackling problems and building new things to provide our customers with a great user experience. The position reports to the Engineering Manager and will provide opportunities for career advancement as the company grows.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Working within a Scrum team designing and developing hardware and software solutions support our continued product development initiatives
• Applying appropriate design/architectural patterns to solve practical problems
• Understanding business needs and be capable of translating them into technical solutions
• Communicating frequently and collaboratively with business resources
• Self-motivating and self-managing in a rapid application development environment
• Taking ownership of project components
• Writing and executing Engineering/System test plans-cases
• Keeping current on technological advances that affect Brighton Science’s suite of product solutions
• Working alongside product management to craft technical solutions to solve customer business problems
• Ensuring projects align with annual and quarterly Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) • Promoting inquisitiveness within the team
• Continuously challenging the status quo
Required Skills & Experience:
• B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or related work experience
• 5+ years of Electrical Engineering (hardware and firmware design) experience
• 3+ years of C/C++ and embedded RTOS experience
• Experience creating and maintaining electrical panel CAD models
• Experience with wireless and wired technology (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Cellular)
• Experience with product specifications, systems analysis, microprocessor-based systems, and firmware development
• Experience with continuous development and deployment
• Are comfortable executing autonomously in the face of ambiguity
• Possess the growth mindset (“The code I just wrote should be rewritten.”)
