The developer will work closely with application, data, and reporting teams to extend and enhance a suite of internal web applications that support operational workflows. This role is well suited for someone who is execution-focused, comfortable working within evolving MVPs, and able to iterate quickly with stakeholders while delivering clean, testable, production-ready code tied to clear business outcomes.

Hourly Rate: $45-55/hr DOE

Roles & Responsibilities:

We are in need of a developer who is execution-focused and can extend and refine a suite of our internal web applications that support manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working inside evolving MVPs, iterating quickly with stakeholders, and delivering clean, testable code that meets clear business outcomes. This will involve working on dashboards, CRUD flows, and ensuring operational data alignment across different plants and roles. Collaboration will be key, as they'll be working closely with operations and data teams involved in our ERP/MES/PLM systems and analytics roadmap.

Required Skills and Experience:

Next.js (App Router) with TypeScript, with a strong emphasis on React UI and component-driven architecture.
TailwindCSS and shadcn/ui for maintaining design-system consistency.
Building data-dense layouts and tables that are both performant and accessible.
Familiarity with Server Components, API routes, and fetch/async data flows.

On the backend and data access front, the developer will need to:

Build Node.js backend APIs (REST) with secure parameter handling.
Write parameterized SQL safely to prevent injection.
Have proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL), including paging & filtering queries, joins & views, stored procedures, and light query tuning.

Moreover, experience integrating with operational systems, particularly in manufacturing/production, would be highly beneficial. Practical understanding of read-only reporting/status dashboards, CRUD patterns, and operational data alignment across plants and roles is essential. The developer will also need to be adept at iterating in MVPs and working directly with stakeholders to gather feedback.
