Job Description

 As a strategic leader, you will ensure an effective and efficient global accounting operations through over seeing and implementing appropriate controls over incoming and outgoing transactions. Ensure compliance with appropriate regulations, legislation and accounting standards.  Oversee the statutory consolidated figures at P&L, BS and cash flow level. Coordinate the accounting activities and processes with Financial Shared Service center and Corporate HQ. Oversee accounting compliance and statutory reporting package from global subsidiaries. 

Role & Responsibilities:

People Leadership:

  • Lead and direct a team of financial professionals in the US.
  • Provide global oversight to international financial activities and regional teams.
  • Be the focal point for all statutory accounting and treasury processes with Corporate HQ.
  • Ensure completion of deliverables and achievement of goals.

Financial Accounting & Treasury:


  • Oversee accounts payable, global credit policies, accounts receivable, fixed assets, general ledger functions and activities in a shared service environment.
  • Oversee accounting processes for the international subsidiaries. Ensure harmonization and standardization over the accounting processes.
  • Coordinate closing process and consolidation activities at Business HQ level, intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.
  • Coordinate and drive the process for statutory reporting package from the international subsidiaries.
  • Responsible to prepare the consolidated statutory reporting package for Corporate HQ submission.
  • Responsible to drive and coordinate global process for Balance Sheet review and analysis, at subsidiaries and consolidate level.
  • Ensure timely and accurate BS account reconciliations following Corporate standards
  • Monitoring cash flow and net financial positions for the international subsidiaries and global consolidation to secure accurate forecasting and meet financial targets.
  • Oversee tax calculations and provisions performed by shared service.


Business Support:

  • Direct financial ERP implementation and integration activities and provide insight and guidance to the users of the ERP operating system.
  • Improve financial processes through new system implementation and integration, such as Hyperion Financial Management and SAP BW



  • Provide global oversight for the Accounting and Treasury functions.
  • Define and implement global policies in compliance with Corporate guidelines
  • Coordinate accounting SOPs preparation and maintenance
  • Act as focal point for Corporate Internal Audit
  • Prepare and coordinate all audit activities in connection with year-end closing
  • Coordinate transfer price studies, policy definition, implementation and audit
  • Design and implement internal controls for both international subsidiaries and global consolidation to ensure compliance to regulations, accounting standards and Corporate guidelines


Required Skills & Experience: 

  • 4-year accounting degree
  • Certified Public Accountant
  • IFRS knowledge strongly preferred
  • 5+ years Big 4 experience and 7+ years private industry experience
  • 5+ years supervisory experience
  • Proven ability to maintain strong and effective internal and external business partner relationships
  • Strategic financing experience
  • Strong leadership and team building skills
  • International experience {Europe and Asia}
  • Multi-currency experience
  • Experience with remote financial shared service partnership
  • Demonstrated strong systems and business process knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (SAP)
  • Strong cost accounting (Manufacturing & Service)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence and maintain high levels of communication and feedback with subordinates, peers, executive management and various stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point
  • Ability to work both autonomously with little direction
  • Must have good organization skills, high level of accuracy, and be detail oriented.



  • Merger & acquisition integration experience
  • Experience with HFM system and processes 
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment



  •  International & domestic travel requirement; 20-25 %
