Our non-profit client is looking for a true Human Resources Business Partner to consult with them for a 5+ month engagement. Our client empowers women in the community to live their best lives through healthcare and other resources. They partner with other organizations across the Twin Cities to be able to reach as many women as possible. Job Description

Our non-profit client is looking for a true Human Resources Business Partner to consult with them for a 5+ month engagement. This Human Resources Business Partner will start out by assessing the organization as a whole and then presenting strategic plans that will help our client continue to grow and thrive. This Human Resources Business Partner should have non-profit experience along with business knowledge to create structure that supports all divisions as they grow. It is not required but is would be great if this Human Resources Business Partner is also familiar with healthcare.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Complete organizational assessments using a variety of proven methods to discover and solve complex organizational issues and contribute to new growth opportunities
  • Will provide strategic HR counsel and coaching to business leaders in supporting the business to achieve their strategic objectives
  • Partner with the business when dealing with the overall people strategy including such areas as performance reviews, organizational design, change management, leadership and employee development, talent acquisition, compensation strategies, talent management, employee relations and processes such as recruiting
  • Recommend communication and change management strategies and tactics for implementing proposed organizational changes
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers by being proactive, responsive and encouraging teamwork
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance

 

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • 10+ years HR Business Partner experience
  • Change Management experience
  • Non-profit experience
  • Strong project management experience; support and facilitate change management initiatives and partner with leadership teams to effectively communicate business strategies, goals, values, and performance expectations
  • Consultative, coaching mindset
  • Ability to influence and communicate at all levels of the organization
  • Able to work with sensitive, confidential information; a high level of demonstrated discretion and judgement is required Skilled at conflict management and resolution, and creative problem solving
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Partner with key stakeholders and internal partners to facilitate the employee engagement survey and performance planning process
