HR Generalist
Join a very fast growing company as an HR Generalist focused on payroll and benefits. Due to the growth they are experiencing, there wonderful opportunities to move up within the company into strategic HR roles.

HR Senior Specialist will be the primary payroll expert at VTI. A variety of additional HR support responsibilities will ensure a full, varied, and fun job. A hybrid work schedule is supported in this role.

  • Represent Company in a business-like professional manner in both conduct and appearance, to maximize client satisfaction.
  • Work in compliance with the Company’s policies and procedures
  • Available to work outside of, or in addition to, normal business hours.
  • Maintain and protect assigned company assets.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Focus:
    • Performs payroll data entry and processes payroll in a timely and accurate manner to ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws
    • Administers the processing and payment of garnishments, severance, and deferred compensation
    • Complies with all procedures and reporting related to Prevailing Wage processing.
    • Keeps up to date on all facets of Payroll including Federal, State, and Local rules, regulations, and laws
    • Understand and execute computation of data directly related to W-2 processing.
    • Conducts periodic audits to ensure data integrity
    • Provides excellent customer service by answering employees’ questions regarding their pay, tax withholding, deductions, benefits, etc.
  • Day to day administration of 401(k) plan requirements including support of annual 401(k) audit
  • Prepares ad hoc reports and queries in UKG Reporting as requested
  • Process pre-and post-employment screens and support field teams by managing all aspects of customer badging and site access
  • Benefits Administration in support of company provided employee benefits
  • Maintain employee files


Requires Skills and Experience:

  • 1 or more years of experience with UKG Pro is preferred
  • 1 or more years of Payroll experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computerized business systems
  • Proven problem-solving skills based on previous work experience
  • Demonstrated data and analytics experience as evidenced by 1 or more years of experience
  • Ability to successfully pass drug/alcohol test and background check
