Job Description

Our global client is looking for an experienced HR Manager for a 3+ month engagement. Our client is growing and looking for an HR Manager who has experience in mergers and acquisitions. This HR Manager will be helping create policies and procedures and onboarding new employees. Someone who has experience creating and implementing policies along with the overall day-to-day management of HR will excel in this role.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manages the general operations of Human Resources in a customer-focused and professional manner
  • Maintains knowledge of benefit programs offered and policies and procedures related to the administration of open enrollment
  • Creates and facilitates onboarding for new employees in a M&A organization
  • Provides leadership in the administration of compensation programs
  • Completes and maintains employee filing and file maintenance, wage verifications, and employment references
  •  Generates reports and responds to special requests (human resources related reports, human resources information, etc.)
  • Maintains all human resources information and retains records according to federal and state requirements.  Ensures facility compliance with federal and state requirements and regulations including unemployment insurance, ADA, EEO, AA, etc. (HR files and retains records, overtime, reporting requirements)
  • Identifies, conducts and manages special Human Resources projects

 

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including talent acquisition, compensation practices, performance management, employee relations, compliance with federal and state employment laws
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP designation
  • Experience helping navigate organizational mergers and acquisitions
  • Highest degree of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality; demonstrated discretion in the handling of highly sensitive material and information
  • Experience managing 401K administration and compliance
  • Knowledge of an HRIS system, ADP experience preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to reason and apply policies/procedures consistently
  • Must be detail and accuracy oriented
  • Excellent coaching skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build, partner and maintain relationships internally and with management/leadership
  • Highly skilled in conflict resolution practices
