Human Resource Manager will serve as business partner with key business functions in both developing strategy and execution of day-to-day human resource needs. The HR Manager will design, lead and manage: recruiting and retention, benefits and compensation, performance management, employee relations and compliance.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Designs and administers the performance review process.
  • Acts as primary contact regarding employee issues such as disciplinary action, terminations and promotions.
  •  Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed.
  • Designs and oversees succession planning process to ensure company retains key people.
  • Leads training and development processes.
  •  Develops, administers, and revises as necessary compensation structures and plans.
  • Responsible for ultimate payroll administration.
  • Manages employee communication, recognition and retention programs.
  •  Manages and plans employee-related company functions and meetings.
  • Manages and ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state employment laws.
  • Manages the unemployment claims processes, including completion of claims, appeals and providing requested documentation.
  •  Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all employees; assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manual. Maintains company org charts.
  • Maintains HRIS records and compiles reports from ADP.  
  • Responsible for disciplinary action process.
  • Responsible for filing First Report of Injury while assisting EHS with any injury/accident reports.
  •  Leads the recruiting and hiring process- including building relationships with high schools and colleges and designing advertising to source candidates.
  • Manages post interviewing process such as extending employment offers, performing reference and background checks, and closing with candidates.
  • Responsible for background checks/drug testing administration.
  • Develops and manages employee On Boarding, employee files and I9's
  • Manages the benefit programs, assesses benefit needs and trends, and coordinates annual enrollment.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in the administration of benefits, compensation programs, employee relations and recruiting.
  • ADP experience, or similar HRIS
  • Understanding of payroll administration
  • Coaching and conflict resolution skills
  •  Demonstrated success working with people at all levels in the organization, with a commitment to working on cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with great attention to detail
