Human Resources Business Partner (ID:41974)
Seeking an HR Business Partner for a growing company! Very flexible - option for 4 day work week!
Our client is looking for an HR Business Partner who will be responsible for the daily functions of the human resource department, including recruiting/retention, employee relations, performance management/improvement, compliance, communications support, new employee orientation, personnel files, job posting & advertisement, HR database reporting.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute performance evaluation process.
  • Monitor quality and timeliness of performance evaluations; provide supervisor feedback and coaching as needed.
  • Facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Manage job advertisement placement and postings.
  • Implement new hire orientation tasks.
  • Develop relationships with employment agencies, temporary employment services, tech schools, universities, high schools and other recruitment sources.
  • Provide advice and assistance for hiring procedures.
  • Handle data collection for compliance-related reports (i.e., affirmative Action Plan (AAP), Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Department of Labor (DOL).
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Train staff on employee handbook policies; assist supervisor in interpreting and applying policies in specific situations.
  • Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Attend and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintain statistics on competitive wages and benefits.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • At least two-three years of human resources experience is preferred.
  • Experience with the Paychex HR platform and with a Union workforce would be a plus.
