Our client’s Compensation Consultant will research job requirements and evaluate job positions across the industry to ensure they are offering competitive salaries and benefits. Successful Compensation Consultants will be able to accomplish a variety of tasks ranging from preparing and maintaining job descriptions for each position in the organization, to gathering and documenting job, organizational, and occupational information for each job including duties, responsibilities, and skills.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Build out and standardize new compensation plans on a national scale
  • Design and develop a market-based total rewards package for executives to attract, motivate, reward, & retain
  • Administration of executive compensation programs to ensure all transactions are processed accurately and in timely
  • Develop internal communications and materials to educate applicable audiences (both employees and HR Business Partners) on executive
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on compensation programs and incentive plans
  • Prepare, update, and create plan documents and other communication materials for annual and long-term incentive plans
  • Lead and/or provide work direction to cross-functional teams to refine or implement compensation solutions   

Required Skills & Experience:
  • 5-7+ years compensation experience
  • Ability to effectively handle highly confidential compensation and other human resources information
  • Expertise in design/development of compensation solutions/processes
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others from across the organization, including executives and others at higher levels
  • Demonstrated expertise in the following functional areas: project management, financial acumen, communications/stakeholder management, design/development of solutions/processes
