We are looking for an Interim Director of Finance and Operations for one of our exciting fund management clients!
The Interim Director of Finance and Operations, reporting to the Chief Investment Officer, is a strategic partner on the leadership team with accountability for the financial operations and wellness of the organization. This position will be key in setting up accounting and infrastructure of loan and fund administration.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the monthly and quarterly reporting process for HH investing, operational and partner entities’
- Treasury management for investment fundings, receipts, management fees, and management of waterfall and carried interest model according to LPA
- Manage expense allocations amongst multiple funds, SPV, and co-invest entities, tax compliance, fund analytics, reconciliation and compliance, capital calls, distributions, investor and internal reporting, investor due diligence, fund documents, and marketing materials
- Regulatory compliance, budgeting and forecasting for the Fund, the Management Company and the overall Hyland business, human resources (benefits and payroll), other related responsibilities etc.
- Manage multiple third-party relationships such as Auditors, Fund Administration, Loan Administration, Legal, Tax, Accounting and Banking/Treasury relationships to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of work product
Required Skills and Experience:
- Build financial models (P&L, B/S, CF) in Excel
- Ability to be trusted partner to senior leaders
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- Ability to lead, manage and execute multiple and potentially competing initiatives and priorities while staying well organized
- Ability to work with highly confidential information
- Assist with closing and onboarding loan and portfolio acquisitions
