Our client is seeking an experienced Interim HR Consultant to join our team. This role requires compensation and benefits analysis expertise, job leveling, market competitiveness, and HRIS infrastructure. Worksite Location: Bloomington, MN–Hybrid Opportunity; Seeking Minnesota/Twin Cities based candidate only.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive compensation analysis, benchmarking, and assessment to ensure market competitiveness.
  • Provide design recommendations for job leveling, pricing, performance management, and bonuses.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes within the renewable sector to ensure competitive pay structures.
  • Assess and recommend strategies to address potential underpayment issues.
  • Perform thorough benefits analysis, benchmarking, and assessment to evaluate and enhance our benefits offerings.
  • Develop design recommendations that align with market standards and employee needs.
  • Integrate benefits strategies with overall compensation and talent management plans.
  • Tie the total rewards strategy to the employee engagement, talent, and performance management strategies.
  • Collaborate with leadership to establish and build a comprehensive total rewards philosophy.
  • Ensure the total rewards strategy supports the overall business objectives and employee satisfaction.
  • Evaluate the current HRIS infrastructure and recommend improvements or new systems as needed.
  • Ensure the HRIS supports efficient and effective HR processes and data management.
  • Implement technology-driven solutions to enhance HR operations.
  • Build strong relationships with leaders, providing a consultative and business partner approach to HR initiatives.
  • Balance strategic thinking with the ability to execute detailed, hands-on tasks.
  • Demonstrate executive presence while engaging deeply with operational changes and implementations.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in compensation analysis, benchmarking, and design recommendations.
  • Strong background in benefits analysis, benchmarking, and strategic design.
  • Expertise in total rewards strategy and its alignment with employee engagement and performance management.
  • Proficiency in HRIS assessment and optimization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an executive presence.
  • Ability to work both strategically and operationally, scaling efforts as needed.
  • Consultative approach with the ability to build strong relationships with leaders.
