We are seeking an experienced Interim Instructional Designer for a temporary assignment. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in instructional design methodologies, web-based design, and eLearning course development tools. Additionally, familiarity with HR Transformation concepts and experience with Workday will be beneficial for success in this role. The Interim Instructional Designer will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to develop engaging and effective learning materials that support organizational objectives.

Worksite Location: Golden Valley, MN / Hybrid Opportunity

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Utilize instructional design principles to create high-quality eLearning courses and training materials.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather content and translate it into engaging learning experiences.
  • Design and develop web-based training modules using industry-standard eLearning authoring tools.
  • Ensure alignment of instructional materials with HR Transformation initiatives and organizational goals.
  • Leverage Workday platform for designing and delivering training content, leveraging its features and capabilities effectively.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide project updates, and solicit feedback.
  • Adapt instructional design strategies and approaches in a flexible and agile manner to meet evolving business needs.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience in instructional design and web-based design, with a strong portfolio showcasing eLearning course development projects.
  • Proficiency with common eLearning course development tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of HR Transformation concepts and their implications for learning and development initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Workday platform and its functionalities related to training and development.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and agility in adapting instructional design approaches to accommodate changing requirements and priorities.
