Our client is seeking an Interim Instructional Designer to join their dynamic team. As an interim Instructional Designer, you will collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and other Learning and Development team members to design, develop, and implement engaging and effective learning experiences. You will play a key role in creating instructional materials, including e-learning modules, training videos, job aids, and interactive simulations, to support the organization's learning initiatives.

Worksite Location: Lakeville, MN

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Partner with subject matter experts to analyze learning needs and objectives.
  • Design and develop instructional materials using instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
  • Utilize e-learning authoring tools (such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar) to create interactive and engaging learning experiences.
  • Develop multimedia assets to enhance learning content, including graphics, animations, and videos.
  • Incorporate assessment and evaluation strategies to measure the effectiveness of learning solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of learning materials with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in instructional design and e-learning technologies.

 

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in instructional design, e-learning development, or related roles.
  • Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation in learning design.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
