IT Recruiter

Our client is looking for an IT Recruiter to help grow their IT team. Successful IT Recruiters will have a talent and intuition for sourcing, screening and providing a shortlist of qualified candidates for various technical roles. Also beneficial is an ability to network online and offline with potential candidates to promote our client’s employer brand, reduce their time-to-hire and ensure they are attracting the best professionals in the industry. Ultimately, you will build a strong pipeline of tech talent and help hire and retain skilled employees for our IT positions.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Source and recruit locally and nationally for various IT positions such as storage administrators, compliance advisors, due diligence advisors and more
  • Develop thoughtful, comprehensive, position-specific search strategies that leverage best practice recruiting methods and emphasizes diversity to candidate slates
  • Leverage online recruiting resources and in-house ATS to identify, attract, present, and recruit top tier talent
  • Develop proactive IT sourcing techniques, including mining resumes, selling the positions to potential candidates, networking and contacting recruiting resources, and attracting best of class candidates
  • Review resumes for appropriateness of skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements and business needs
  • Collaborate with hiring managers, full-cycle recruiters, and candidates to keep communication channels open during the recruiting process
  • As first point of contact with the candidate, the IT Recruiter will be representing both the company and the brand


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3-5+ years of IT recruiting experience, including full-cycle recruiting         
  • Ability to use technical IT language to communicate with potential candidates regarding open opportunities
  • Must be consultative, professional, and diplomatic as this individual will be partnering with several department heads on higher level critical roles
  • Ability to create trusted partnerships with hiring managers to assess departmental talent needs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work at a fast pace and juggle many projects at once
  • Flexibility to multi-task effectively and quickly adjust to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and ATS experience
  • Must be highly organized, able to work independently with little direction
