Our client is an established, internationally successful, family-owned business in Cold Spring, Minnesota. This exciting company is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their team.
As the Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for providing full engineering support to all projects while working hand in hand with the manufacturing team and Project Managers.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Designing and producing plans and specifications for building construction, systems, modifications, and repairs.
- Developing and facilitating scope, estimates, budgets, schedules, drawings, timelines, and installation plans related to assigned projects.
- Working with all internal support departments and outside resources in developing and facilitating scope, estimates, budgets, schedules, drawings, timelines, and installation plans related to assigned projects.
- Identifying, evaluating, and communicating potential design issues and opportunities.
- Reviewing and developing plant and equipment layouts.
- Estimating the quantities and costs of materials, equipment, and labor to determine project feasibility.
- Identifying, evaluating, developing, and coordinating resolutions for our manufacturing, maintenance, quality, safety, environmental, and administration departments.
- Applying mathematical and scientific principles to design, evaluate and repair equipment, buildings, products, processes, and infrastructure.
- Understanding and implementing Lean manufacturing concepts.
- Assisting in design startup or repair using scientific analysis to effectively identify issues, determine root causes, and quickly develop solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5-10+ years of engineering in a manufacturing environment.
- 3-5+ years of experience working within a manufacturing operations environment.
- Mechanical aptitude knowledge and background.
3-5+ years of experience managing Mechanical Engineering projects.
