We are engaged with a local company that is looking to hire a Mechanical Engineer to help continue to expand their successful track record in worldwide projects. Our client, located north of Minneapolis, offers creative and innovative product development of demilitarization, alternative fuel, chemical processing for custom solutions to their customers around the world.
Our client currently has an opening for a Mechanical Engineer to assist in equipment and system design at the corporate engineering center in Elk River, MN.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conceptual and fabrication level design of mechanical and automated systems in support of client core demilitarization business.
- Mechanical drafting work utilizing Solidworks to design tooling, fixtures, conveying equipment, robotics, and structures.
- Additional duties include work on specification and integration of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drive mechanisms, controls equipment, and other ancillary system components into these systems.
- Other project responsibilities may include oversight of equipment fabrication, assisting onsite equipment installations, and process equipment performance evaluations at production or customer locations.
- BS in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2 + years of Solidworks
- Experience in modeling assembly drawings, machining specifications, piping systems, automation technologies, and fluid control system design is beneficial.
- Travel to project locations nationwide and abroad as necessary.
- Client is a government contractor and is required to employ only U.S. Citizens.
