Millwrights Division Manager (ID:41882)
Division Leadership opportunity to drive aggressive plans for growth with a well-established company in the specialty construction industry.
The Millwrights Division Manager is responsible for optimizing the success of the team by actively engaging in how work is sold, run, forecasted, and finished. The duties include driving new engagement progress, creating and maintaining customer relationships, overseeing project scheduling and management as well as assuming responsibility for the financial performance of the division. This person should possess an advanced understanding of our market’s industrial activities and opportunities inside the yellow line throughout the greater twin cities region. Preference will be directed to individuals with extensive millwright project management experience, an industrial engineering formal education or experience and/or contacts in production operations management or industrial facility oversight.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  1. Developing and implementing sales strategies and solid customer engagement processes for team member success.
  2. Collaborating with other departments and upper management to identify business goals.
  3. Recruiting, hiring, and training project managers and sales specialists
  4. Identify and retain field leadership roles to serve business growth.
  5. Evaluate and recommend improvement measures to elevate the Company’s Millwrights market share.
  6. Developing and maintaining supplier relationships and strategic equipment line redundancy.
  7. Implementing and manage Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to maximize opportunities and customer relationships.
  8. Maintain favorable standing with Unions and other business partners.
  9. Strong “say to do” ratio.
  10. Conduct yourself in accordance with the Company’s core values: Safe, Accountable, Professional, Motivated, Can Do and Curious.

Required Skills & Experience:
  1. BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  2. Minimum seven (7) years of directly related experience in the Specialty Construction/HVAC industry.
  3. Strong leadership skills to evaluate and impact project management and sales performance while providing training and coaching, when necessary.
  4. Communication in verbal and written forms need to be well above average and confidence in one’s ability to build trust with division members, operations, collaborating departments and upper management is also of the utmost importance.
  5. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for sales process improvements and develop/implement new strategies for improvement.
  6. Financial skills and business acumen to manage a full P&L and understand sales profitability and opportunity risk are essential.
  7. Technology skills to utilize our CRM and ERP to maintain relationships and accurate project KPIs for the entire division.
  8. Research and reporting skills to analyze sales data, industry trends and generate accurate project/rollup forecasts.
