This very successful company is growing to keep up with the demand. Looking for an Operations leader to bring structure, metrics, accountability, and coaching/teaching. while leading a culture that values people and a work environment where people want to stay!
This exciting company is changing over from a shop that makes and assembles to a manufacturing facility that is looking to produce 4X what they do now. They anticipate outgrowing their existing buildings in the next few years.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Direct and coordinate activities of production departments in processing materials or manufacturing products.
  • Review production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan department operations. 
  • Openly communicate issues with purchasing for resolution prior to detrimental effect on production
  • Plan production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
  • Prepare operational schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications.
  • Review production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
  • Analyze and report on employee productivity and overtime. 
  • Work within budgetary guidelines and time constraints.
  • Inspect machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.
  • Develop or revise standard operational and working practices and observe workers to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Review with Sales Team to ensure full understanding of orders to be built.
  • Review weekly updates with Sales as to what is sold, meet sales production goals, weekly, monthly and yearly.
  • In coordination with company leaders, resolve worker grievances.
  • Compile stores and retrieve production data. 
  • Suggest improvements.
  • Manage the administration of established health and safety policies including “Right to Know”, respirator training, emergency response and others. 
  • Help manage the hazardous waste program, executing requirements and keeping appropriate documentation current and accurate.
  • Supervise all employees within Purchasing, Customer Service, Production and Paint Departments.

Required Skills and Experience:             
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or Operations Management.
  • Training in Total Quality Management.
  • Lean training and experience applying tools.
  • Experience working in a metric driven manufacturing environment.
  • Leadership experience or indirect leadership/influencer.
  • Passion for powersports, cars, camping, off roading, trucks, or camping would be a great connection!
