Job Description

The PG&A Analyst is accountable for ensuring the supply chain and dealer demand needs of our Client’s USA Parts, Garments and Accessories group are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Create purchase orders
  • Ensure purchased goods meet quality, pricing, timing, and quantity needs
  • Prepare and maintain purchasing reports, records, and updated price lists
  • Interact with suppliers to develop mutually beneficial relationships
  • Track and report any issues with product delivery
  • Calculate all order costs and evaluate invoices for accuracy
  • Evaluate and maintain proper inventory levels in warehouse through forecasting and order execution
  • Handle urgent order or delayed order issues as they arise
  • Actively seek and execute cost savings opportunities related to purchasing and logistics
  • Participate in vendor request for pricing and contract negotiation events
  • Determine obsolescence of old inventory
  • Interact with dealers on inquiries involving product function and availability
  • Act as supplementary dealer contact when needed
  • Other duties as required

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Logistics or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years’ previous experience in similar role within the Powersports, Automotive or similar industry
  • Firm understanding of forecasting, inventory maintenance, and vendor management
  • Relationship building experience; familiar with purchasing fundamentals
  • Must be able to collaborate
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Negotiation and dispute resolution skills
  • Strong customer focus and service orientation with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues, dealers/customers and vendors at all levels in a cross-cultural setting
  • Critical technical, professional and personal capabilities
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, safety, teamwork and open communications
  • Positive attitude, motivated, self-starter with strong teamwork skills
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
