In this pivotal leadership role you will be at the heart of the company’s mission to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the metal finishing processes. This position is a key hire, and the successful candidate will bring experience in metal finishing, professionalism, leadership skills, and new ideas.

Primary responsibilities include the supervision of all production activities, management of a team of skilled professionals, and the implementation of processes designed to meet stringent quality and production targets while upholding the highest standards of safety. Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Management and optimization of our production process for metal finishing operations.
  • Responsible for guaranteeing that our production goals, quality benchmarks, and timelines are consistently achieved.
  • Monitor equipment and processes to swiftly identify and address any issues that might impact production.
  • Supervise and nurture a team of production staff, which includes operators and technicians.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance working environment, where the strengths and potential of every team member are harnessed.
  • Regularly conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to drive team improvement.
  • Demonstrate commitment to adhere to strict quality control protocols, ensuring the attainment of the highest quality finishes.
  • Swiftly address any quality-related concerns and proactively initiate corrective actions when required.
  • Enforce safety protocols and best practices that create an environment of safety and well-being for all team members.
  • Lead investigations and reporting in the event of safety incidents, ensuring comprehensive documentation and diligent corrective actions.
  • Efficiently manage production schedules, resource allocation, and the inventory of materials to meet the demands of production.
  • Collaborate effectively with procurement to ensure a consistent supply of the necessary materials and chemicals.
  • Exhibit a continuous improvement mindset by proactively seeking opportunities to enhance production processes, improve efficiency, and bolster cost-effectiveness.
  • Spearhead and oversee process improvement projects that are geared toward increasing productivity and reducing waste.
  • Stay committed to upholding compliance with all relevant industry and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Stay abreast of changes in regulations and ensure the company's unwavering adherence.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in metal finishing, surface treatment, or related manufacturing processes.
  • Outstanding leadership skills with a history of effectively managing and inspiring teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a keen focus on process improvement.
  • An in-depth understanding of safety regulations, quality control procedures, and environmental compliance.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
