Regional Sales Manager – Western US

Job Description

Our retained client is a multi-million-dollar privately held organization based in Minnesota that has been around for over 25 years.  They supply a time and cost saving solution to contractors and municipalities all across North America.  They are in search of a top-tier sales professional that can take over responsibility for the Western United States and grow their market share both directly and through independent distribution channels.  

Job description: 

 

• Identify and follow through on new and existing opportunities from prospect to close of sale and beyond

• Work with multiple independent distribution channels in order to increase revenue

• Be a team player and collaborate with other members of the team

• Provide face to face interaction with current and prospective customers and partners

Qualifications: 

 

• 4-year degree is required (technical degree [referred)

• 5+ years of experience in technical sales working with city/state/ local government 

• Excellent communication skills with both internal and external customers

• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively and is self-driven to succeed 

• Proven track record of growing sales and maintaining profitability

• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

• Preferred locations: Denver, Kansas City, or Oklahoma City areas (no relocation
