Regional Vice President of Operations (ID:41662)
A regional executive operations role guiding and directing the strategy and continued growth of a recent acquisition. You will drive successful integration, assess and act on opportunities for improvement while providing organizational alignment resulting in customer satisfaction, continued employee engagement and retention, and organizational success.
The Regional Vice President of Operations: Minnesota Operations provides direction and structure to operating facilities/units in the states/region of Minnesota & Wisconsin. This exciting role oversees operations, designs & implements new programs/initiatives, as well as leads the region's continuous improvement efforts. Additionally, the position is responsible for developing & implementing processes and systems within their region/states to measure, assess, and improve the quality of care/services provided and levels of service excellence in a cost-effective manner. This senior leader is a servant leader who models the values of the organization.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and management to a region that mirrors the adopted mission and core values of the company.
  • Responsible for driving the region to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow, and business goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all regional/divisional processes, internal and external. Drive change and improvement to processes as needed.
  • Build and execute integration plans for new areas.
  • Spearhead the development, communication, and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes within the region/division.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of our organization.
  • Develop talent and build high-performing teams.
  • Motivate and lead a high-performance management team; attract, recruit and retain required members of the operations team not currently in place; provide mentoring as a cornerstone to the management career development program.
  • Responsible for ensuring that appropriate disciplinary action, employee rewards and recognition, performance and salary evaluations, and terminations are done properly based on employment laws requirements.
  • Ensures compliance with all Federal, State, and local employment laws.
  • Represent and advocate for the company with regulatory and governmental representatives.
  • Act as lead within the region/states, including direct engagement with clients and cross functional teams.
  • Keep the COO and other members of the executive team updated on significant activities occurring within the region.
  • Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within Minnesota Regional Operations.
  • Create a culture and environment that makes the organization the "employer of choice" in the region/states in which we operate.

Required Experience and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, social services, or a related field
  • A minimum of 8 years of successful operations experience (required)
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role (required)
  • A minimum of 5 years of successful operations leadership experience in Home Care / Home Health Care / Health Care (required)
  • Experience leading operations for multiple sites (required)
  • Prefer experience growing the business through both organic growth of the existing business, as well as growth through mergers/acquisitions
  • Prefer experience within a private equity sponsored company. Understands fast paced decision making, expectations, capitalizing on growth opportunities impacting top/bottom line revenue and EBITDA.
  • Requires a track record of successful leadership and delivery of results in a similar environment in terms of (a) P&L responsibility, (b) organization size, (c) markets, and (d) key deliverables
  • Requires experience successfully navigating Minnesota’s regulatory environment, advanced knowledge of Minnesota’s billing requirements, as well as knowledge of the unique nuances of getting things done in the State
