Our client is a family owned business that has been a leading supplier of customized products for the last 45 years. They are looking for a dynamic and hungry sales professional to add to the team.
Job Description: This role is responsible for growing revenue through building trusted relationships with both end-user customers and commercial contractors. This person will be prospecting and closing business through an extensive sales process within a variety of different industries.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for increasing company sales through building relationships with customers, contractors, and facilities managers
- Initiate sales calls through a variety of strategies including but not limited to phone calls, customer visits, and inbound inquiries
- Responsible for reporting activity back to management that includes but is not limited to sales visits, quoting, etc.
- Provide competitive market intelligence back to upper management for the purpose of planning future marketing and sales plans.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2-year degree is required
- 2+ years of outside sales experience
- Proven ability to close business and grow revenue
- Entrepreneurial spirit and self-driven to succeed
- Qualified candidates must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to be successful working independently and as part of a team
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 4-year or technical degree
- Industrial or manufacturing sales experience
