Looking for a Senior HR Manager to join a growing company. Reporting directly to the CEO, this person will join and lead the HR Department. This person will transform the HR Department to a more strategic function that will partner with the leadership team to drive company initiatives.

Job brief

This client is looking for a Senior HR Manager to join and lead the Human Resources department.

Senior HR Manager responsibilities include overseeing the employee recruitment process, designing and implementing company policies and setting key performance objectives for the HR team. You will also help shape the brand strategy. To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with HR technology, including payroll systems and Applicant Tracking Systems.

Ultimately, you will ensure that the company attracts, hires, develops and retains qualified employees.


  • Develop and write a yearly department plan that supports the company goals and objectives
  • Work with company management to build recruiting and staffing guideline and best practices to ensure new hires are well suited and a good fit for role offered
  • Engage in employee ownership communication and awareness events
  • Set objectives for the HR team and track progress
  • Design and implement company policies that promote a healthy work environment
  • Develop compensation and benefits plans
  • Support and suggest improvements to the entire recruitment process
  • Host in-house recruitment events
  • Discuss and document employees’ career development paths with managers
  • Monitor HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates, cost-per-hire, and internal candidate promotions)
  • Review departmental budgets
  • Organize and manage employee and organizational learning and development programs
  • Ensure HR staff addresses employees’ requests and grievances in a timely manner
  • Maintain HR procedures that comply with labor regulations
  • Actively participate in company strategy and leadership planning discussions


  • Proven work experience as a Senior HR Manager or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with Human Resources Management Software (including payroll systems and ATS)
  • Solid understanding of labor legislation
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Leadership skills
  • ESOP Experience
  • Experience with company size of 200+ full time employees
  • Ability to foster healthy employee relations
  • B.S degree in Human Resources Management or Organizational Psychology
  • Masters degree in HR or relevant certification is a plus
