They support small-to-medium-sized manufacturing and commercial construction companies by providing professional, hands-on, onsite safety programs and training. Our client is seeking a new Senior Safety Advisor with strong EHS experience who is a great relationship builder, client-focused, self-motivated, well-organized and provides exceptional follow-through.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Work with clients to help them drive a strong safety culture.

  • Conduct pictorial safety audits at assigned manufacturing facilities, noting state and federal OSHA regulation violations based on industry.

  • Develop and conduct customized safety programs and training modules for clients from available training modules.

  • Provide OSHA Compliance onsite support.

  • Participate in informal conferences with OSHA in contesting citations.

  • Provide direction and inspection for all safety processes.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years in safety-related experience in the construction industry

  • Safety BA or MA degree, or safety management background a plus (safety certifications CHST, OHST ASP, CSP).

  • Or (2) a BA degree with two years of direct safety experience in manufacturing.

  • Working knowledge of OSHA standards for general industry.

  • Ability to investigate accidents to identify where basic. controls need to be implemented to reduce or eliminate risk.

  • Strong intercommunication skills: the ability to work with diverse personality types from management to line level.

  • Open to local to overnight travel.

  • Ability to present compliance training in a positive manner

  • Require a clean driving record, current license, and ability to properly operate a vehicle while driving to clients to conduct consulting work.

  • Experience with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and iAuditor/Procore is ideal.
