Due to business growth, our client is looking to fill this newly created role. As Lead Recruiter you’ll create and execute “best-in class” strategies to place top talent and build strong partnerships with internal leaders and colleagues. Through networking and sourcing, you’ll build and maintain robust relationships with candidates, extend and negotiate offers and build a pipeline of talent for our most critical, specialized professional roles in multiple offices nationwide.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop a talent pool through creative sourcing techniques including social networking, generating referrals, professional associations, and advanced direct sourcing. Through outreach activity, identify qualified candidates to fulfill existing positions and future positions as they are identified.
  • Provide an excellent experience to candidates through the application process--from first interview screening to assessments through offer stage. Through your interactions, ensure every candidate, regardless of hiring outcome, has a positive experience.   
  • Serve as a liaison between hiring leaders, HR team members and candidates. Lead and guide a team of two recruiters, with accountability for successful high-volume hiring.
  • Consistently keep hiring managers and business leaders proactively informed of the talent pool in their local market and functional business.
  • Collaboratively make and negotiate offers of employment in partnership with HR, the hiring leader, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Develop/maintain strong domain knowledge of recruiting, including market trends, and knowledge of talent in regional offices nationally.
  • Influence hiring decisions by assessing talent through behavioral based interviews, facilitating selection decisions, and extending job offers
  • Develop and track data to measure effectiveness of the hiring process, including sourcing, offer and acceptance rate, diversity hiring, and other data as needed.
  • Manage third-party agencies/partnerships involved in the recruitment process
  • Act as a representative of Northmarq and be involved in external organizations and industry associations
  • Initiate and drive special projects to elevate the recruiting process and implement creative methods to find top-tier candidates


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven full cycle recruiting experience, including highly specialized professional roles with a focus on client relationships, sales, or professional services and preferably in a B2B environment
  • 7+ years full cycle recruitment and recruitment software experience (ATS, candidate generation tools)
  • Four-year degree required
  • Experience developing interviewing tools, including behavioral interviewing guides, candidate evaluations, and other tools to assess top talent
  • Ability to establish credibility and influence with senior-level business partners through strong interpersonal skills, communication clarity, and proven results.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform in a fast-paced, professional environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve key metrics such as (but not limited to) time to hire, sourcing effectiveness and quality of hire
  • Deep knowledge of online recruiting and social media recruiting channels
  • Strong organization, attention to detail and follow-up skills
  • Strong strategic thinking and creativity
  • High-judgement decision making and experience working with confidential candidate and employee information.
  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple client relationships, and projects.
  • Experience leading and partnering with agencies
