Our client, a company with a strong commitment to cultivating a culture of pride and passion for its employees, is seeking a Staff Accountant to provide critical corporate accounting support to the finance department and CFO. Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Conduct month-end closing activities, including Inventory & COGS entries, monthly financial statements, and financial reporting for quarterly and annual filings.
  • Analyze and enter cost and variances for material purchases and manufacturing costs.
  • Support physical inventories and plant cycle count program.
  • Provide support for Revenue, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable activities.
  • Assist external audits by preparing schedules, gathering information, and providing analysis as requested.
  • Continuously develop and document accounting-related processes and procedures.
  • Be accountable for internal control documentation over financial reporting.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • At least two years of relevant experience in an Accounting/Finance Department or similar field
  • Strong problem-solving and solution-oriented thinking skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially in advanced Excel.
