Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct month-end closing activities, including Inventory & COGS entries, monthly financial statements, and financial reporting for quarterly and annual filings.
- Analyze and enter cost and variances for material purchases and manufacturing costs.
- Support physical inventories and plant cycle count program.
- Provide support for Revenue, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable activities.
- Assist external audits by preparing schedules, gathering information, and providing analysis as requested.
- Continuously develop and document accounting-related processes and procedures.
- Be accountable for internal control documentation over financial reporting.
- Undertake other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- At least two years of relevant experience in an Accounting/Finance Department or similar field
- Strong problem-solving and solution-oriented thinking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially in advanced Excel.
