Job Description

Our non-profit client seeking a Talent Acquisition Consultant for a part-time 4+ month engagement. The hours for this contract will vary between 24-30 hours a week. This Talent Acquisition Consultant will use the in house ATS, ADP, to source, screen, interview and move potential candidates through the hiring process. This Recruiter will also help update and track candidate information, schedule interviews with hiring managers, help create offer letters and more. This Talent Acquisition Consultant will also be tasked with working on various Talent Acquisition projects pertaining to process improvement, social media, branding and more.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assess current recruitment processes and procedures, advise on best practices, and implement new processes/procedures
  • Create strong partnerships with business leaders and hiring managers throughout the organization
  • Perform searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using computer database, networking, Internet recruiting resources, cold calls, media and employee referrals
  • Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements and business need
  • Ensure an understanding of job duties, responsibilities and business requirements for positions that require recruitment
  • With general oversight from the recruitment manager, develops and maintains internal/external relationships related to the recruitment process which may include hiring managers, human resource professionals, industry contacts, candidates, etc.
  • On board new hires, including new hire and benefit orientation
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality in daily tasks
  • Ensure that all necessary filings required by regulatory agencies are completed on a timely basis
  • Assists in maintaining Human Resources Information System

 

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent HR work experience
  • 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
  • ADP experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Flexibility in work style, and able to change directions with ease
  • Experience leveraging various social media platforms to drive recruiting engagement with current and future candidates
  • Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and execute multiple projects
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
