Job Description

Our non-profit client is looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to help take a decentralized recruiting process and help consolidate it to be centralized for a 2+ month contract opportunity. This Talent Acquisition Partner will help build out and streamline the recruitment process as they centralize the function across their organization. A collaborative Talent Acquisition Partner who is comfortable using a coaching approach to mentor others will excel in this role.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provides expert recruitment consultation to internal stakeholders to align on talent acquisition strategy with business needs
  • Contributes to the development of and implements effective recruiting strategy plan that impacts the outcomes of the overall business
  • Works collaboratively with respective teams to identify, attract, and hire targeted talent and to develop strategies to retain a full talent pipeline for your assigned portfolio
  • Proactively approach talent acquisition challenges and gain market intelligence/ hiring trends in order to stay competitive
  • Create and conduct regular business reviews with business leadership
  • Provide on-boarding support and role model best practices across Talent Acquisition.
  • Services as a mentor and provides indirect leadership to junior recruiters and/or contractors
  • Actively looks for process improvements, brings ideas forwards, and implements as appropriate

 

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7+ years recruiting experience, including full-cycle recruiting and recruitment management
  • Ability to create trusted partnerships with hiring managers to assess departmental talent needs
  • Experience filling entry-level to leadership roles locally and nationally
  • Confidence in tackling a variety of positions and providing a top-tier candidate hiring experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Sourcing experience for difficult to fill roles preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to partner, influence, and instill trust with mid-level business leaders
  • Develop & execute action plans that tie to the needs of the business
  • Ability to analyze and interpret talent acquisition data, recognize trends and make recommendations
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Stay up to date on legal and compliance aspects of interviewing and hiring
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to appropriately tailor messages
  • Must have the ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures, and mentor others
  • Proven research skills using LinkedIn is preferred, familiarity with other Social Networking channels is a plus
  • Experiencing leveraging various ATS systems and experience with background check vendors
