Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for full-cycle recruiting, including; sourcing and identifying talent, filling job openings, partnering with leaders to ensure fair compensation practices, and performing general HR duties.

  • Full cycle recruiting top talent including sourcing, interviewing, reference checking, draft offers, and manage on-boarding process
  • Implement recruiting practices as determined by management
  • Partner with managers to determine requirements for open position and qualities of an ideal candidate
  • Post positions that will attract top talent/create advertising
  • Network within the recovery community and the addiction treatment field
  • Ensure that staff resource requests are completed in a timely manner
  • Work with managers to create job descriptions and post job postings
  • Schedule interviews for internal and external applicants
  • Facilitate background checks and license verification for new hires
  • Draft offer letters and extend to qualified candidates
  • Properly document, compile and retain various records including requisition files, personnel files, training and licensure verification, etc.
  • Maintain HR Metrics and analysis
  • Coordinate on-boarding orientation for new staff 
  • Maintain professional working relationships with other treatment facilities, outside stakeholders and referral sources
  • Keep leadership team apprised of “best practice” approaches in the delivery of service to residential and outpatient clients
  • Annual review/update of “employee” handbook


Required Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree in related field, or equivalent training/experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years in a role involving recruitment of all levels of employees from entry level non-exempt positions to Senior Leadership positions
  • Must be able to pass MDHS background check

Additional Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience working with professional and support staff in a recovery environment
  • Excellent written, communication, customer service, and management skills
  • Skilled in consulting and facilitating; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; strong facilitation, negotiation, investigation and mediation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS/Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Ability to solve problems and work in a fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds
