Roles & Responsibilities:

As a representative of a major storage and organization company, the Territory Manager is responsible for developing and managing the selling process to independent dealers serving both the single family and multifamily markets in Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. The TM will represent the organization and product lines while educating the dealer, builder, and owner-developer channels about our products, programs, and opportunities in storage and organization trends. The primary responsibilities will be to target and sell new dealer partners by executing a territory business plan; maintain brand identity, build solid relationships, sell on the quality and value of branded products; follow industry trends and translate into new business; meet and/or exceed minimum requirements for sales activity and revenue goals.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business related discipline 
  • Three - Five years sales experience
  • Basic understanding of the single family and commercial residential new construction channels and pull through sales process
  • Comfortable with latest technologies, including presentation software, mobile, CRM and other online applications. 
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
  • Competitive, energetic and motivated with excellent interpersonal skills including strong self-motivation, focus and passion for selling. Entrepreneurial spirit.
  •  Demonstrate a proven track record in effectively communicating company and product messages to an external audience
  • Self-driven, motivated by success
  • Knows how to work with team members and leverage influencer channels
  • Abilities to multi-task and problem solve
  • Has capabilities of both business development and account management
  • Must be an effective strategic thinker with proven tactical execution
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, written communication and presentation skills
