Our client is a market leading data management and predictive analytics company targeting collegiate sports, higher education, and nonprofit organizations. Their proprietary technology provides personalization for every interaction to drive conversions and revenue. With 30% year-over-year growth and a 98% customer retention rate, our client is looking for a VP of Marketing to build and lead a world-class SaaS marketing organization.

Through market-leading data warehouse & analytics, empowering Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) technology, our client is the market leader in fan engagement, institutional advancement, and nonprofit fundraising. They partner with professional and collegiate sports, as well as institutions of higher education and nonprofit organizations to deliver a constituent centric, personalized experience in support of their client’s missions. Their enterprise-class cloud platform and open APIs deliver mission-critical capabilities that support campaign success by facilitating meaningful engagement based on rich data and keen insight.


Our client is seeking a Vice President of Marketing to play an integral role in driving revenue growth for the company across channels and markets. Reporting to the CEO, this individual will be responsible for creating a scalable demand generation strategy and driving successful execution of their plan to achieve acquisition and retention targets. This role will oversee all demand generation and fulfillment channels such as SEO/SEM, social media, marketing automation, website, etc. This leader will be the company's resident expert on marketing strategies and tactics that drive revenue, while also creating a unique and consistent brand message.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Generate demand. Drive opportunities by increasing pipeline in line with world-wide company budgets. The pipeline will originate from a variety of sources and media, including digital marketing, events, partner marketing, and customer marketing.
  • Customer marketing. Build and implement customer marketing programs to generate pipeline from the install base in line with company budgets.
  • Enable sales.  Arm the sales team with the necessary material to enable them to source and close business effectively.
  • Partner with the other members of the executive team to support the execution of the company’s strategy, culture, execution, profitability, and valuation.
  • Managing and/or support relationships with broad range of external constituents including clients, partners, board members, private-equity sponsors, investment and commercial bankers, rating agencies, equity investors and analysts and financial consultants.
  • Establish credibility and build relationships with clients and partners.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven success in a High-growth SaaS company whose products run on true cloud infrastructure
  • 10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 8 years of B2B demand generation and lead generation marketing.
  • 2+ years of experience leading and managing a small team of direct reports
  • MUST be driven by "making the number," and strong affinity for sales team success
  • Demonstrated ability to execute broker channel focused digital marketing strategies
  • Proficient in Salesforce and a marketing automation platform (Pardot preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make decisions grounded in data and metrics
  • Excellent strategic thinking, influence, and leadership skills
  • Exceptional communication and project management skills
  • Strategic mind-set, strong storyteller with ability to make data driven decisions
  • Strong facilitation and influencing skills to drive cross-functional initiatives in matrixed environment
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office suite with advanced Excel competency (V Look Up, Pivot Table, Macros etc.)
  • Required Bachelor’s Degree.
